1) Spend the day in the happiest place in the world - Hong Kong Disneyland!
Start with a filling breakfast to keep you going for the day ahead. Pop a bottle of her favourite champagne and just when she thinks it couldn’t get any better - surprise her with tickets to Disneyland! Spend the day enjoying the rides, buying cute souvenirs to remember the day and of course, taking adorable photos by the castle!
2) For the more adventurous ones - embark on a night hike!
Start at one of the hip bars in Wan Chai, grab a cocktail and then burn it off by making your way all the way to the top of the city - The Peak! Pack a bottle of champagne and toast to the beautiful city lights ahead of you.
Route: Start at Hopewell Centre, follow the steps to Bowen Road until you reach the Peak Tram. Head along May Road, Tregunter Path, and all the way up until you hit Old Peak Road. To finish the hike, continue back down Old Peak Road and you’ll reach Hornsey Road. Take a left and continue down Glenealy and head towards the escalators for IFC and the piers.
3) Grab your swimsuits & floats and head over to Cheung Sha Beach, Lantau!
We’ve gotten really lucky with the weather in the past few weeks - it’s the perfect opportunity to spend the day at the beach with your date: swimming, reading, getting in a few cocktails and ending with a 3-course sunset dinner ($320 pp) at Bathers Restaurant located right at the waterside.
4) Pizza is the only love triangle you want!
Stay in this Valentine’s and make it just about the two of you (and pizza of, course)! Order in Motorino’s date-night package ($418), which includes two antipasti, two heart-shaped pizzas and a tiramisu. Turn on a rom-com on Netflix, grab a blanket and you’re set for the night!
